The lodge at Pateke Lagoons is newly built to an exciting design by Wellington architect Keith Wilson. There is unsurpassed viewing of the wetland from the decks above the lakes.
There are two guest rooms. Each room has its own ensuite facilities and private courtyard. The house is large and warm with a roaring fire in winter and elevator access for those unable to negotiate the stairs. One guest room has facilities for people with disabilitites. One room has a queen bed, the other has a queen plus a single. Each room has fridge, cupboards, wardrobe and coffee making facilities. Fresh flowers in each room with local cheeses and nibbles.
The library contains reference books on wetland ecology, native birds and wildfowl.

$195.00 per room inclusive of full cooked breakfast for two.
Dinner
$60.00 per person includes afternoon snacks, a three course evening meal with aperitif, complimentary wine, coffee and tea. Pateke Lagoons specialises in beautiful food, all of it fresh, with fresh vegetables and salads from our own garden. We specialise in fish and seafood, but also love to barbecue.
Boxed lunches are available with advance notice.
